We are Family, Neighbors and Friends

Working To Keep Your Pet Happy And Healthy.

Pet Wellness & Preventative Care

Just like humans, a little preventative care for your pet will go a long way in helping them live a happy and healthy life. Our vet team serving Bridgeport, McKinley Park and surrounding areas is happy to provide individualized wellness programs for both cats and dogs to ensure that we are diagnosing potential problems early and staying on top of their ever-changing health. Pets unfortunately have a shorter lifespan than we do, so their health changes at a quicker pace than our own. Our preventative programs will help keep your pet up-to-date on vaccines and general checkups. We’ll tailor the specific protocol to meet the needs of your pet based on animal, breed, age, and many other factors.

Puppy & Kitten Wellness

Getting a puppy or a kitten is one of the most exciting yet possibly overwhelming times in your life. Our team will help set you and your new family member up for success by providing them with the proper care from the get-go. Our puppy and kitten wellness programs consist of an initial examination, testing for parasites, and multiple rounds of vaccinations to protect them from potential parasites.

In addition to these services, we can also provide you with information and guidance on nutrition, training and socialization to help your new pet succeed.

Adult Pet Wellness

We recommend bringing your cat or dog in at least once a year for a check-up and to update vaccinations. This also helps us to catch developing diseases early and ultimately keep medical costs down. Plus, many pets are good at hiding any potential problems, so coming to our vet in Bridgeport at least once a year can help provide you with peace of mind that your family member is healthy and happy.

We will perform a physical assessment in addition to performing necessary diagnostic tests including bloodwork, a fecal exam, and a urine test to test for parasites or other red flags. Dental care may be another facet of our recommendations as well. During these appointments, always feel free to communicate questions or changes that you have observed in your pet.

Senior Pet Wellness

Senior cats and dogs require more attention and specialized care in order to keep them healthy. Before your pet reaches senior level, we recommend bringing them in for a baseline test to help our vet in Bridgeport determine how your pet is changing over time. We aim to identify and reduce any signs of pain as early as possible to help your pet enjoy his or her full and complete life.
